Sikeston Public Schools

The Sikeston Kindergarten and Early Childhood Center and Parents as Teachers program will be holding their annual birth- 4 years screening.  All children from birth to 4 years in the Sikeston school district are welcomed to attend this free screening. 

The screening will take place February 22-25, at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.  The hours will be from 1 -6 pm on Tuesday , on Wednesday and 8 am-4 pm , Thursday 10 am-6 pm and on Frida, 8-11 am. 

Come find out your child’s potential and how they are doing on their milestones.  The screening will check vision, dental, hearing, speech and developmental areas.  You must bring your child’s immunization record to the screening. 

This screening determines who attends our 4 year old Early Childhood program next school year.  Your child must be screened in order to attend the preschool. 

If your child is going to be 5 years old by July 31, 2022, they will be eligible for Kindergarten in the fall.  Enrollment for Kindergarten will be in April.
