Sikeston R-6 Announces Jacob May as Head Softball Coach

Sikeston R-6 announced today that Mr. Jacob May will be the next head softball coach. The district began the task of searching for a new head coach after the resignation announcement of current head coach, Laura Brown.

The district held interviews with students, parents, staff, and administration to help in the selection process.

Coach May has this to say about the future of the softball program. “I am beyond grateful to be hired as the new Head Softball Coach. I am thankful to Central Office and the High School Admin for giving me this opportunity.

I am extremely excited to get to work with these young ladies. There is a ton of potential and talented young ladies coming back. I am ready to work each and every day to bring the best out of each one of them.

I will give my all to these young ladies to put them in the best position possible to be successful. My intention is to bring this program back to prominence and compete for district titles.”
