Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community,

Sikeston R-6 is pleased to announce that Mrs. Katie Henry has been selected as the next Academic Leader at the Sikeston Senior High.

“Mrs. Henry is an excellent addition to the SHS administrative team,” says Mrs. Tiffany Morgan. “Her strong work ethic and dedication to the district is evident, and I am excited to see her continue in this new capacity.“

Mrs. Henry has taught math at the Sikeston Senior High for the past 12 years. During this time she has also coached volleyball, served as an iLead building level team member, and was the Senior High building administrator for Bulldog Summer School last year. 

Mrs. Henry stated, “I am so excited for this new adventure! I believe Sikeston has the best students and teachers, and I am so happy to continue to be a part of that. I am ready for this opportunity and I am looking forward to continuing to work hard for our students. We are Sikeston!”

“Mrs. Henry has a wealth of experience as a core classroom teacher and has led the High School math department as chair for many years,” says Mr. Doyle Noe. ”Mrs. Henry holds students accountable and focuses on positive relationships based on mutual respect.”
